Communications Officer
Sabhal Mòr Ostaig is leading Faclair na Gàidhlig, an inter-university initiative to produce a historical dictionary of Scottish Gaelic, in collaboration with the Universities of Glasgow, Aberdeen, Edinburgh, and Strathclyde.
We are recruiting a communications officer to support external communications and outreach for Faclair na Gàidhlig. You will have a good honours degree (at least a 2:1) in Communications or a related field, or equivalent experience.
You will be a team player capable of working independently, with an analytical mindset and attention to detail. You will have work experience in a Gaelic organisation and be proficient in written and spoken Scottish Gaelic.
Salary: £30,380 pro rata (24.5 hours per week)
Term: Immediate start available. Funding until 31 March 2026, with possible extension.
Base: Negotiable, with occasional visits to Sabhal Mòr Ostaig, Isle of Skye.
