Metal and Silversmithing Adjunct Professor

Position Summary

Johnson County Community College is searching for an Adjunct to teach at least one section of Metal and Silversmithing-I in the Fall semester of 2026, with potential additional class assignments in the future.

Required Qualifications

MFA in Metalsmithing

Preferred Qualifications

3-5 years of teaching experience at a college level.
Demonstrated exhibition record or record of relevant field experience.
Demonstrated knowledge of contemporary and traditional approaches to Metalsmithing.
Knowledge and familiarity with Metalsmithing studio equipment, techniques and processes.
Ability to work with students of varying skill levels.
