Basic Function: Accepts applications for part-time, hourly faculty pools on a continuous basis. Starting salary $66.00/hour. Representative Duties: Assignments at Bakersfield Community College Main Campus. Minimum Qualifications: Any bachelor's degree or higher and two years of professional experience OR any associate degree and six years of professional experience OR the equivalent. Demonstrated sensitivity to and understanding of diverse backgrounds of community college students. Knowledge & Abilities include working effectively with colleagues and students, curriculum development, communication skills, subject matter currency, assessing learning outcomes, and commitment to the California community college mission.
