About the position
We’re looking for a proactive and creative Consultant, Operational Design to join our People & Culture Division and help bring clarity, consistency, and professionalism to our Divisional and University priorities.
In this role, you’ll work across the Division to design and develop meaningful materials (including policies, frameworks, guides, reports, and other key resources) that support the successful delivery of People & Culture initiatives. Whether it’s simplifying complex content, developing visual resources, creating new processes or templates, or collaborating with subject matter experts to turn ideas into action, you’ll bring a strong design mindset, an eye for detail, and a clear focus on the end user.
This is a hands-on role where you’ll make a visible contribution to high-impact projects and help shape how we communicate and engage across the University. As part of the newly established Design & Coordination team, within the broader Capability, Partnering & Strategy Team, you will work closely with a range of stakeholders to create purposeful, accessible, and high-quality outputs that support the work of the wider P&C function.
We’re looking for someone who’s adaptable, collaborative, and passionate about great design. If you enjoy problem-solving, love turning complexity into clarity, and care about creating impactful resources that people can easily understand and apply, we’d love to hear from you.

- Demonstrated experience in designing high-quality documents, templates, and resources that are user-centred, accessible, and visually engaging.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple teams and priorities.
- A proactive mindset, with strong organisational skills and a keen eye for detail, structure, and consistency.
