Salary: €233527 - €280513 per annum
We are looking for a Consultant Paediatric Cardiologist to join our team in Limerick.
Role
- Provide expert care for children with congenital and acquired heart disease, including complex cases, arrhythmias, and heart failure.
- Lead outpatient clinics and manage inpatient cardiology care.
- Perform echocardiography, cardiac imaging, and support catheter lab procedures.
- Participate in the on-call cardiology rota and provide advice to paediatric colleagues across the region.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, including surgeons, intensivists, and nursing staff.
- Contribute to service development, quality improvement, and teaching initiatives.
Requirements
- Eligible for specialist registration in Paediatrics with the Medical Council of Ireland.
- At least two years’ experience in paediatric cardiology
