Job Description

Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity

We are seeking a Content Delivery Assistant to join our welcoming and collaborative Collection Development and Access team within Student and Scholarly Services.

In this role, you’ll support the delivery of high-quality learning and research resources by ensuring course readings and interlibrary loan materials are accessible, accurate, and delivered on time. Your work will directly contribute to the success of students, researchers, and academic staff across the University.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating physical and digital resources for high-demand and short-loan collections
  • Ensuring digitised content complies with copyright and accessibility requirements
  • Providing interlibrary loan and document delivery services, including liaising with external libraries
  • Responding to enquiries from students and staff and resolving access issues efficiently
  • Contributing to service improvements and maintaining accurate records and systems

This role involves some physical activity, including lifting and moving materials, so comfort with this is essential.

This is a full-time permanent role (37.5 hours per week).

The salary for this role is $55,634 - $60,500.
