Educational and Experience Requirement: Bachelor’s Degree in related field. Two years of experience in a related field. Experience in Higher Education and technical work is desirable. A combination of education, experience, and training that would produce the required knowledge and abilities could be considered.
Nature & Purpose of Position: Performs moderately complex administrative, managerial, and technical work and guidance in operations within the Enrollment Marketing & Communications department. Assists the Associate Director of Communication Technologies with various initiatives and objectives related to Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and communications projects and tasks.
Primary Responsibilities: Assists in planning, building, and deploying email, text, and other campaigns within the University’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and its integrated marketing platform, as well as other communication platforms and tools used by the university. Monitors campaign performance, troubleshoots issues, and implements adjustments as needed to optimize results. Supports the creation of personalized and targeted messaging for prospective and current students. Assists with providing training and support to Enrollment staff on CRM and communication tools, features, and best practices. Uses advanced knowledge of CRM capabilities to suggest improvements to campaigns and automations. Executes and follows through on complex and technical responsibilities. Responds to information requests. Collects, reconciles, and maintains complex data. Monitors project timelines and identifies issues. Prepares letters, correspondence, and reports on the effectiveness of program activities. Coordinates and implements various engagement and outreach pieces for both print and web. Assists in the development of outreach plans and strategies for the departments within the Division of SEI. Supervises, tracks, and evaluates the distribution of detailed operational information to students regarding their enrollment status. Creates and interprets policies and procedures. Oversees the work of assigned program staff as needed. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Other Specifications: Ability to effectively coordinate and collaborate with staff, faculty, and administrators. Strong communication and technical skills. Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, and experience with CRMs or communication platforms is desirable (e.g., Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Emma, Gecko, EAB Navigate, etc.). Ability to exercise excellent reasoning, troubleshooting, and independent judgment. Ability to organize work effectively and prioritize objectives.
