The Financial Aid Department at St. Catherine University invites applications for a full-time Coordinator of Financial Literacy & Financial Aid Specialist position.
The Coordinator is responsible for providing oversight of the Financial Literacy program and services, and financial aid packaging support at St. Catherine University. As a member of the Financial Aid staff, the Coordinator works collaboratively with program partners including Admission, Career Development, Community Work & Learning, Student Retention, Human Resources, Student Accounts, Institutional Research, SPREE, grant program coordinators/directors, faculty and staff to establish partners for financial literacy programming. The Coordinator manages the financial literacy program and provides direction to and supervision of the Peer Money Mentors.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Experience with event planning and presenting workshops
- Financial literacy knowledge through personal experience or education in the areas of budgeting, saving strategies, building credit, tax filing resources, saving for retirement, transition to professional life, etc. and a willingness to learn and teach money management tactics as needed for the program
- Knowledge of federal, state and institutional aid regulations and policies.
- Organizational, planning, and program implementation skills
- Collaborative work style with ability to build effective working relationships
- Detail-oriented, with a commitment to follow-through.
- Ability and desire to work in a diverse environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Additional certifications or education in financial literacy
- Experience working with college students one-on-one and in group settings
- Experience with grant administration
- Program management experience
- Supervisory experience

Compensation: Annual wage is $46,716-$65,395 depending on qualifications and experience.
The salary range listed reflects a good-faith estimate of what we reasonably anticipate to pay for this position, based on market data and internal equity, at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be determined based on qualifications, experience, skills, and other relevant factors. St. Catherine reserves the right to modify or adjust compensation depending on University needs.
