Assist with selection for each RA recruitment cycle (Fall,
Spring, and Summer), including overseeing scheduling,
communication, and logistics.
Collaborate with Assistant Director for Staff Recruitment to
manage RA vacancies and candidate waitlists throughout academic
year.
Assist the Assistant Director for Staff Recruitmentin the
creation of processes and initiatives related to RA selection.
Maintain records of application, performance history, and
roster for all undergraduate RA staff.
Manage background checks, student conduct checks, and GPA
checks for all current and incoming RAs.
ADMINISTRATION
- Schedule meetings, book rooms, and manage logistics such as A/V
needs, catering, etc.
- Manage the scheduling, preparation, logistics, and facilitation
of special events/programs and meetings.
- Oversee the uniform/t-shirt/name badge ordering, distribution,
and inventory for RA staff.
- Submit requests for and maintain records of the following:
background checks, student conduct checks, and GPA checks for all
RAs.
- Manage and respond to internal and external emails through the
to the Resident Assistant Email account in a timely manner, keeping
confidentiality as needed.
ONBOARDING & TRAINING
- Assist with creating presentations and facilitating training
sessions for various levels of staff regarding staff recruitment,
selection, and onboarding processes.
- Design, execute, and assess student staff training and
onboarding initiatives.
- Assist with developing, disseminating, and training on RA
recruitment procedures for the department of Housing and
Residential Life.
DEPARTMENTAL AND DIVISIONAL PARTNERSHIPS
- Serve as a liaison with campus stakeholders within student
employment and leadership opportunities within the Division of
Student Success.
- Collaborate with a variety of campus partners including: the
Office of Admissions, the Career Center, Student Involvement and
Engagement, and Student Health among others.
- Contribute to and actively participate in strategic planning,
unit goal setting, data/assessment efforts, and determining
community staffing priorities and initiatives.
- Other duties as requested or required, whether or not
