Core Faculty & Open Rank Professor, 12 Month Salaried (College of Medicine OBGYN Residency Program)

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care while serving as a mentor, teacher, and clinical supervisor for residents and FSU medical students. We are looking for a candidate committed to clinical excellence, surgical mastery, and the advancement of women’s health in Northwest Florida.

• Clinical Teaching and Supervision of Residents Core Program Clinical Teaching
• Clinical Practice in Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB-GYN) or applicable Subspecialty
• General Administration
• GME Committees/Meetings
• GME Lecturing/Teaching Conferences
• GME Recruiting/Interviewing
• GME Research/Scholarly Activity
• Resident Evaluation/Monitoring
• Program Evaluation

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to shape the program in their vision and recruit core faculty.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree from an accredited institution or the highest degree appropriate in the field of specialization with a demonstrated record of achievement in teaching, academic research, and service.
• Valid FL medical license, or licensed in another state with the ability to obtain FL licensure.
• Must be board certified/Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG)
• Must have a minimum of 3 years of faculty and administrative experience in an ACGME accredited Obstetrics and Gynecology residency program.
