Responsibilities
The successful candidate will provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care while serving as a mentor, teacher, and clinical supervisor for residents and FSU medical students. We are looking for a candidate committed to clinical excellence, surgical mastery, and the advancement of women’s health in Northwest Florida.
- Clinical Teaching and Supervision of Residents Core Program Clinical Teaching
- Clinical Practice in Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB-GYN) or applicable Subspecialty
- General Administration
- GME Committees/Meetings
- GME Lecturing/Teaching Conferences
- GME Recruiting/Interviewing
- GME Research/Scholarly Activity
- Resident Evaluation/Monitoring
- Program Evaluation
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to shape the program in their vision and recruit core faculty.
Qualifications
- Doctoral degree from an accredited institution or the highest degree appropriate in the field of specialization with a demonstrated record of achievement in teaching, academic research, and service.
- Valid FL medical license, or licensed in another state with the ability to obtain FL licensure.
- Must be board certified/Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG)
- Must have a minimum of 3 years of faculty and administrative experience in an ACGME accredited Obstetrics and Gynecology residency program.
