Receive professional development as required to maintain license. 7. Participate in the development and updating of department policies and procedures that may affect students. 8. Perform administrative tasks that contribute to the functioning of the Student Counseling Services. 9. Participate in on-call rotation for emergency and crisis situations that pertain to students and campus life. 10. Collaborate with the Identity-focused Counselor to offer specific expertise regarding LGBTQIA+ identity issues to various components of the college community. 11. Adhere to the ethical codes of conduct appropriate to professional bodies such as the APA and other professional organizations. 12. Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with students, faculty, and staff. 13. Perform departmental research, provide reports, as needed. 14. Work after hours and on breaks, as needed. 15. Travel as necessary to meet the requirements of the position. 16. Other duties as assigned.
