Introduction to teaching one or more disciplines in the intermediate and higher cycles according to the stages of growth and development of the student. Contribution of the subject at this stage of development, theoretical framework for learning this discipline and pedagogical implications; critical study and interpretation of the requirements of the programs at various levels of difficulty; work of analysis and application of teaching strategies, methodologies and techniques specific to the teaching of the subject in question; preparation and use of teaching materials specific to the subject; role-playing. Measurement and evaluation of the student. Specific problem: satisfaction of individual needs.

Requirements:

Master of Education degree required; preference will be given to a Doctorate in Education. At least one of: Recent full-time teaching experience in a school or school board administration, including 2 years of implementing the Ontario Curriculum as per the course subject with a specialist qualification as per the course subject or Current and refereed research portfolio as per the course subject or Recent comprehensive examination (Ph.D.) as per the course subject. - Demonstrated knowledge of the current Ontario Curriculum as per the course subject and Ontario Ministry of Education documents as per the course subject. - Demonstrated ability to apply the Standards of Practice of the profession and the Code of Ethics of the Ontario College of Teachers. The University may consider experience or qualifications equivalent to those mentioned above.
