- Full-time, fixed-term position through to December 2027
- Base salary will be in the range $104,616 - $113,920 + 17% Superannuation (HEW Level 7)
- Based at our Herston Campus

As a Data Analyst – Assessment & Project Support, you will design and implement fit-for-purpose databases (e.g. excel and PowerBI), workflows, and procedures to ensure the accuracy, accessibility, and consistency of assessment data. A key focus of this role will be building capability within the team by documenting processes and upskilling staff to confidently manage and sustain these systems and procedures in an ongoing capacity.

Key responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
- Leverage SAP Business Objects, Power BI, and Excel to collate, analyse, and deliver high-quality assessment data, dashboards, and reports for decision-making.
- Develop clear, user-friendly documentation for assessment systems, workflows, and procedures to support consistent practice.
- Generate actionable insights by identifying trends, anomalies, and risks, and presenting clear recommendations to improve service delivery and student assessment outcomes.
- Develop and optimise data processes, including dataset creation, cleaning, modelling, and live reporting, to support robust and reliable assessment intelligence.
- Contribute to psychometric reporting and project delivery by supporting stakeholders, preparing summaries for committees, and assisting with planning and documentation.

About You
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline, or equivalent combination of experience and training.
- Experience in data analysis, reporting, and visualisation, including development and maintenance of Power BI dashboards.
- Proactive problem-solver with the ability to anticipate requirements, identify risks, and implement solutions.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and stakeholder engagement skills, with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Experience with SAP Business Objects, Power BI, and Excel; knowledge of assessment measurement principles, LMS/exam platforms, and curriculum or accreditation requirement would be desirable.
Appointment to this role is subject to the successful completion of relevant pre-employment checks, which may include verification of the right to work in Australia and criminal history checks. This may also include checks relating to gender-based violence matters or other integrity and conduct requirements.
