Announcement of the Election for the Position of Dean of the Jessenius Faculty of Medicine, Comenius University
The Academic Senate of the Jessenius Faculty of Medicine, Comenius University (AS JFM CU), met on 18 May 2026 and confirmed the election for the position of Dean of the Jessenius Faculty of Medicine, Comenius University (JFM CU) for the office term from 1 February 2027 to 31 January 2031.
The election of the candidate for Dean of JFM CU will take place at a meeting of the Electoral Assembly on 10 November 2026 at 10:00 a.m. in Aula Magna, Malá Hora 4A, Martin.
The period for submitting nominations of candidates for Dean of JFM CU is from 14 August 2026 until 26 October 2026, 12:00 noon.
Members of the academic community of JFM CU have the right to nominate candidates for the election of the Dean of JFM CU.
A nomination proposal for a candidate for Dean of JFM CU must be submitted in writing and must contain all requirements set out in Article 6(3) of the Election Principles. A template of the nomination proposal is attached to this announcement. Nomination proposals should be addressed to the Chair of the Election Committee for the election of the candidate for Dean of JFM CU and submitted through the Faculty Registry Office in a sealed envelope marked “Election of the Dean of JFM CU.”
The presentation of candidates and the discussion will take place on the day of the election of the Dean of JFM CU.
