Lincoln Land Community College is searching for our next Dean, Social Sciences and Business. The Dean will provide leadership and administrative oversight for the disciplines and programs under the Dean's purview.

As a staff member at LLCC, you can look forward to 23 paid holidays a year, including 2 weeks at the end of the calendar year and one week in March for mid-semester break; 12 Fridays off in the summer; and 5 personal days, 12 sick days, and 20 vacation days per year.

Required Qualifications

• Masters degree in one or more of the disciplines taught in the department or equivalent
• Post-secondary teaching experience and/or relevant work experience, preferably at a community college
• Evidence of effective working relationships with external and internal audiences
• Successful record of innovative education and management practices and a willingness to assume risk
• Evidence of an understanding and use of technology in an administrative setting
• Ability to provide leadership in an institution where differences are valued
• Demonstrated knowledge about learning college philosophies and best practices in teaching and learning
• Proven ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders
• Superior written and oral communication skills
• Thorough understanding of and total commitment to the community college mission

Preferred Qualifications

• Earned Doctorate
