Timely communication and accurate handoffs are ensured to maintain sample tracking and workflow continuity.
  • At the intake window, materials from study teams are received and either stored appropriately or handed off directly to processors, as needed. Study teams are contacted by the Deliverer I to retrieve unused processing kits and shipping boxes. Samples are logged into Open Specimen with careful attention to accuracy and proper association with the correct study and participant. This includes retrieving samples from the intake window or from those returned by Deliverer 1 or others, with built-in quality control checks performed during the data entry process.
