Minimum Education and Experience: The Chair of the Department of Clinical and Preventive Nutrition Sciences must hold a doctoral degree related to clinical nutrition or nutrition research and hold the registered dietitian/nutritionist credential with prior clinical practice experience. Candidates are expected to hold the rank of Associate or Full Professor and demonstrate a sustained record of research productivity, including grantsmanship. Additional requirements include experience with program accreditation, excellence in teaching, and a demonstrated record of effective academic leadership.
