Major Duties
Under the general direction of the Director of Administrative Services, the Department HR Analyst serves as a key resource for recruitment and onboarding at Physical Plant Management (PPM). The incumbent facilitates efficient, compliant recruitment processes, coordinates onboarding, and enhances position management through collaboration, ensuring a positive experience for candidates and new hires by maintaining accurate records and providing position management assistance to ensure smooth, efficient HR operations.
- Chairs all Physical Plant Management (PPM) staff recruitment committees and coordinates the full-cycle recruitment process for staff positions.
- Develops, updates, and maintains departmental onboarding materials and presentations.
- Tracks completion of onboarding requirements and coordinates with campus Human Resources.
- Maintains position management spreadsheets, vacancy tracking tools, and related documentation.
- Identifies opportunities to improve recruitment, onboarding, and position management support workflows.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
- Equivalent to graduation from an accredited four-year college or university in a job-related field.
- Equivalent to two (2) years of full-time, technical, analytical, or administrative experience.
- Additional experience in a job-related field may be substituted for required education, on a year-for-year basis.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
- Demonstrated knowledge of recruitment principles, practices, and procedures, including full-cycle recruitment, candidate assessment, onboarding, and position management activities. Ability to interpret, apply, and explain University and CSU policies, procedures, and recruitment requirements while ensuring compliance, accuracy, and consistency throughout the hiring process.
- Exceptional ability to coordinate multiple recruitment activities simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail, confidentiality, and customer service. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with hiring managers, search committee members, candidates, Human Resources staff, and campus stakeholders to facilitate efficient recruitment and onboarding processes.
- Working knowledge of onboarding practices, employee integration strategies, and administrative processes related to new employee entry and orientation. Ability to develop and maintain onboarding materials, coordinate onboarding activities with multiple stakeholders, evaluate program effectiveness, and identify opportunities to enhance workflows, communications, and the overall employee experience.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with the ability to maintain position management records, vacancy tracking systems, recruitment data, and confidential personnel information. Ability to compile, monitor, and report workforce-related data; prepare and route position documentation; ensure compliance with recordkeeping requirements; and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive information.
Pay, Benefits, & Work Schedule

- The anticipated HIRING RANGE is $4799 - $5513 per month, dependent on qualifications and experience. The salary range for this classification is: $4799 - $6992 per month.
- HOURS: Full Time; 40 hours per week; Monday through Friday. May include evenings and weekends.
- This is a Temporary position; end date to be determined.
- The individual hired for this role will physically work on-campus in Northridge. This is not a telecommute position.
