Staffing model will include dedicated NCCU in-house daytime and nighttime shifts as well as potential clinical responsibilities in telemedicine and emergency/acute care. The Unit has 9 Advanced Practice Clinicians (Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants) and an ACGME-accredited fellowship program. The unit is also staffed by neurology and neurosurgery residents, dedicated neurocritical nurses, nurse educators, respiratory therapists, dedicated pharmacists and patient-care technicians. There is a wide range of neurological and neurosurgical subspecialties together with advanced endovascular capabilities. Opportunities are available for clinical and/or basic research in the field.
