Deputy Head of Vocal & Opera

Royal College of Music is seeking a distinguished Deputy Head of Vocal & Opera to work alongside the Director of Opera and Assistant Head of Vocal & Opera. This role fosters the highest standards of teaching and learning within the Vocal & Opera Faculty and the wider College.

Key attributes required:

• A widely recognised and respected performer with experience at the highest levels.
• A track record of success teaching voice at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
• A global perspective and significant international contacts.
• An understanding of the demands of the music profession to help students reach their potential.
• Experience of working as part of a team and managing a busy administrative workload.

This is a permanent, part-time (0.7 FTE) position, immediately available.

Salary: Grade 9, £55,911 - £64,048 per annum, pro-rata. Appointments will normally be made to the first point of the grade.
