Dietitian II - Supportive Oncology - IRV - FT Days

Incumbent is responsible for formulating, documenting and implementing nutrition care plans for patients seen in assigned clinic. Duties include conducting and documenting assessments, reassessments, consults and provide nutrition education for patients and families. Participates in process improvement and special projects. Coordinates resources throughout the health system and assist in the evaluation of services provided to ensure that requirements are met.

Required Qualifications: Willingness and availability to work overtime, holidays and weekends as needed or requested; Understanding of medical terminology; Registered Dietitian with the American Dietetics Association; Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties; Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job; Minimum two years experience as an R.D. in a healthcare/clinical environment; Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Demonstrated understanding of therapeutic and normal nutrition, with the ability to develop care plans for patients; Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload; Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System.

Preferred Qualifications: Must possess either of graduate degree or advanced certification of CNSD, CDE or CSP; Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures and forms.
