The DigiWind NTNU Open Call #2 offers students an international placement in Trondheim, Norway, to develop digital skills in wind and energy systems, delivered through the DigiWind consortium and funded under the Digital Europe Programme (DIGITAL). Up to 15 selected candidates will receive a stipend for a six-month exchange to gain hands-on experience in the digitalisation of sustainable energy at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU).
Applications are open to students currently enrolled in a Master's degree (or final-year Bachelor's students) at a university with an active NTNU exchange agreement, who hold a B.Sc. in Engineering, B.Eng., or B.Sc. in Natural Science relevant to the M.Sc. Electric Power Engineering or M.Sc. Marine Technology programmes. Applicants must be passport holders from an EU/EEA country or a Digital Europe Programme associated country: EEA countries (Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein), Ukraine, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia, Albania, Kosovo, Türkiye, Moldova, Switzerland, and Bosnia and Herzegovina. Candidates must provide official proof of English proficiency.
The scholarship provides a stipend of 6,940 EUR to cover living and subsistence costs during the six-month exchange programme, and beneficiaries are exempt from NTNU tuition fees.
