Position Summary
Perform dining services duties, prepare, stock, and serve food safely and accurately according to local, state, and departmental guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- Requires a High School Diploma or GED
- Must be able to pass ServeSafe Certification once employed.
Position details include but are not limited to
- Operate cooking equipment accurately and consistently in accordance with departmental standards and report any problems in a timely fashion.
- Stock and monitor inventory and report waste or overproduction of food and food-related items.
- Ensure food product is properly rotated and handled according to departmental standards.
- Monitor the use-by or sell-by dates on all products.
- Monitor food product presentation and quality and suggest changes or improvements.
- Provide excellent customer service in working with guests, customers, or co-workers.
- Train and guide part-time, temporary staff, as needed, in accordance with departmental requirements.
- Perform dining area cleaning duties as needed.
