Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Event Management (internal): Facilitate all space bookings for Law School building utilizing 25Live. Collaborate with Registrar to ensure accurate classroom reservations. Host annual school-wide calendar meeting. Direct set-up and breakdown of events. Maintain inventory of event items. Work with outside vendors for furniture and equipment rentals. Assist with catering orders. Advise on event orchestration services. Manage needs for symposia and events. Serve as liaison for logistical operations. Communicate with relevant departments for heating/cooling and security. Obtain post-event feedback. (60% of Time)
- Building Rental and Management of External Events: Manage and update web content related to building rentals. Work with Communications team for advertisements. Create relationships with potential clients. Follow policies for space rentals. Serve as liaison for clients. Collaborate with colleagues for client needs. Obtain feedback from clients. Maintain records for rentals. (15% of Time)
- Office of Student Services: Support Graduation planning and execution. Aid in scheduling and planning for Student Services events. Contribute to Orientation and other large-scale events. (10% of Time)
- Continuing Legal Education (CLE) Programming: Collaborate on programs offering CLE credit. Manage web content for CLE events. Maintain CLE files and records. Prepare bi-annual reports for State CLE Boards. Handle event details like booking space and ordering catering. Ensure day-of event management. Send CLE certificates. (15% of Time)
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required, 1-3 years relevant work experience.
Desired Qualifications:
Master's degree preferred, Doctoral degree (JD) preferred.
Salary Range:
$75,000-80,000
