Salary Range: $72,900-$77,000 annualized, commensurate with education, experience, and qualifications.

Job Summary
The Director provides support for activities, information, and communications related to institutional accreditation and compliance efforts, academic program planning and approval, and strategic planning. This role supports the Assistant Vice Provost for Accreditation and Academic Programs. This position is responsible for supporting multiple facets of complex accreditation and academic program processes.
Core Responsibilities
- Assists with accreditation reports and academic and institutional substantive changes.
- Assists with logistics for accreditation site visits, as needed.
- Contributes to reports and updates for university leadership concerning accreditation, compliance efforts, and strategic planning.
- Provides user support and training for the University's accreditation software and the University's academic
- substantive change management and approval software.
- Helps to manage the Academic Programs inbox and responds to inquiries about new academic programs and academic program changes.
- Audits faculty qualification reports in the University's faculty activity system each term to ensure compliance with our external accreditor's policies and University policies. Documents faculty credentials by course. Follows up with academic departments to ensure transcripts and/or alternate qualifications are uploaded in the system. Keeps the training module for new department chairs/school directors and staff up to date.
- Helps to manage the Faculty Qualifications inbox and responds to inquiries about transcripts and alternate credentials/qualifications.
- Consults with Faculty Success on any reports or other items needed in faculty activity system related to faculty qualifications and accreditation.
- Manages relevant documentation and records from varied institutional sources.
- Assists with updates to web pages to ensure accurate and up to date content.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
- Five (5) years of related work experience.
- This position requires the ability to maintain the security and integrity of UT San Antonio and its infrastructure.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's Degree in a related field.
- Seven (7) years of related work experience.

Working Conditions
Office Environment. Occasionally requires evening and weekend hours. May require some after-hours work. Ability to travel to and from meetings, training sessions, or annual conferences.
Physical Demands
Sedentary work; sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary, if walking and standing are required, only occasionally. Exerts up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally.
This position will work primarily remotely in Texas and on campus as needed. Travel and parking expenses are the employee's responsibility.
This position is contingent upon a successful background check. Verification of a valid driver's license and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) may be completed as applicable. Applicants selected must be able to show proof of eligibility to work in the United States by time of hire.
