experience for prospective online students. The position utilizes data, technology, and customer relationship management tools to improve enrollment outcomes, support strategic growth initiatives, and advance the mission of Angelo State Global.
Essential Duties:
- Online Enrollment Strategy and Growth - Develop and implement recruitment and enrollment strategies that support Angelo State Global enrollment objectives. Manage enrollment pipelines, establish recruitment goals, monitor performance metrics, and recommend strategies to increase inquiries, applications, admissions, and enrollments.
- Online Student Recruitment and Conversion - Lead outreach and engagement efforts for prospective online students by coordinating communications, recruitment campaigns, enrollment events, and personalized enrollment support designed to improve conversion rates and enrollment outcomes and degree completion.
- Enrollment Operations and Student Support Coordination - Coordinate closely with Admissions, Financial Aid, Registrar, Advising, and academic departments to ensure online students receive responsive, concierge-style support throughout the enrollment process. Monitor service levels and identify opportunities to improve the prospective student experience.
- CRM Management, Analytics, and Reporting - Manage online enrollment workflows and communication campaigns utilizing CRM and recruitment technologies. Track enrollment performance indicators, generate reports, analyze trends, and provide recommendations to support enrollment growth and operational effectiveness.
- Partnership Development and Market Outreach - Support employer, military, workforce, community college, and strategic partnership initiatives that contribute to online enrollment growth. Represent Angelo State Global at recruitment events, conferences, and outreach activities as needed.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Knowledge of higher education enrollment management and recruitment practices.
- Knowledge of online education markets, adult learners, military-affiliated students, and nontraditional student populations.
- Knowledge of admissions, financial aid, registration, and advising processes.
- Knowledge of student relationship management (CRM) systems and enrollment funnel management.
- Knowledge of digital recruitment and lead generation strategies.
- Skilled in enrollment planning, forecasting, and data analysis.
- Skilled in customer service and relationship management.
- Ability to analyze enrollment and recruitment data to drive decision-making.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across departments and organizational units.
- Ability to communicate effectively with prospective students, families, faculty, staff, and external partners.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a student-centered focus.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution and three years of progressively responsible experience in enrollment management, admissions, recruitment, student success, higher education administration, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience utilizing data-informed decision-making, managing recruitment initiatives, and working collaboratively across organizational units.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree from an accredited institution.
- Experience utilizing Banner, Degree Works, EAB Navigate, Slate, CRM systems, or similar student success technologies.

History
The institution was founded in 1928 as San Angelo Junior College and then changed the name to San Angelo College in 1932. The campus was moved from its original downtown location to its current site in 1948. By an act of the 58th Session of the Texas Legislature, the institution was designated as Angelo State College in 1965, the year it became a four-year, state-supported institution. The name was changed to Angelo State University in 1969. On Sept. 1, 2007, Angelo State University became a member of the Texas Tech University System.
Academics
Angelo State offers on-campus and online courses through six colleges: Arts and Humanities; Business; Education; Health and Human Services; Science and Engineering; and Graduate Studies and Research. The university is recognized for its strong undergraduate programs overall, and its computer science and commercial aviation programs recently earned prestigious certifications from the National Security Agency and Federal Aviation Administration, respectively. ASU also features a vibrant Honors Program, support programs for first-generation and former foster care students, and a thriving Center for International Studies.
The university is also known for incorporating faculty-mentored research into many undergraduate offerings. Campus
Angelo State University's campus is situated on 274 acres in the center of San Angelo and is lined with native live oak and pecan trees. In addition to being one of the prettiest campuses in the region, it is one of the safest in Texas and features ultramodern facilities with state-of-the-art technology support. ASU is home to one of only two State of Texas Data Centers, which provide sophisticated computer processing and disaster recovery services for agencies and universities, and to the state's first Regional Security Operations Center that provides cybersecurity services for municipal and state agencies and private entities.
The university's newest facility, The Nexus at Angelo State, will further enhance ASU's research, cybersecurity and artificial intelligence infrastructure.
