GENERAL PURPOSE
Support the mission of the University as needed, with development programs, initiatives, special projects and manage Molloy’s special events including the annual Gala, Golf Outing, and speaker series. The Director is also responsible for developing and implementing individual corporate partnerships to support financial sponsorships and University fundraising priorities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Leads fundraising events and programs to cultivate corporate donations, solicitations, and in-kind resources to produce support and significant net income including annual Gala, Golf Outing, the “Conversations” series and other smaller fundraising events. Develop and manage timelines for various fundraising activities and programs to ensure critical fund-raising processes are carried out in a timely manner including a comprehensive communications plan to promote events, highlight donors and coordinate event committees and task forces to ensure successful outcomes.
- Identify and develop corporate, community and individual prospects for the organization's fundraising priorities. Motivate, and collaborate with staff, Board, and committees to build an active pool of fundraisers and networking opportunities. Build relationships with community stakeholders to advance the mission and fundraising goals of the organization.
- Manage a portfolio of key corporate prospects to actively solicit funds in support of the University's mission, priorities and students.
- Assist in data tracking, reporting and analysis related to corporate relations, fundraising events and portfolio fundraising.
- Assist with other duties as assigned by the Office of Development and Alumni Relations.
REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree
- 5 to 8 years of work related experience
- Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
