Job Description
SUNY Broome Community College seeks a dynamic and experienced professional to serve as the Director of Financial Aid. The Director of Financial Aid reports to the Associate Vice President and Controller and is the operational leader responsible for the overall operation of the student Financial Aid program and Veterans and Military Affairs. The Director of Financial Aid is responsible for operationalizing and directing all short, intermediate, and long-range planning for the financial aid program.
This role requires strong leadership, regulatory knowledge, and cross-campus collaboration to ensure accurate aid delivery and effective support for student success.

Requirements:
- A Bachelor's degree is required.
- A Master's degree is preferred.
- A minimum of five (5) to seven (7) years of related professional experience is required, including three (3) to five (5) years in a supervisory or leadership capacity.
- Significant professional development in financial aid is desirable.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States without a visa sponsorship.
Additional Information:
The minimum annual salary for this position is $82,716. Salary offer will be based on the candidate's qualifications and experience.
Offers of employment will be conditional based upon the results of a satisfactory, required pre-employment Standard Background Check.
