Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and 2 years of experience in college strength and conditioning.
License/Certification Required
CSCS and CSCCA Certification Required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Duties & Responsibilities include:
- Direct responsibilities for year-round programs for assigned teams as needed.
- Supervises the athletics Weight Room, inventory, and maintenance.
- Recommend purchases regarding strength and conditioning equipment.
- Work in conjunction with athletic trainers, Olympic Nutrition and Sports Psychology regarding injuries, rehabilitation, and nutrition.
- Coordinate with coaches regarding schedules and needs.
- Commitment to and compliance with the University's and Department of Athletics policies and procedures as well as the Sun Belt and NCAA constitutions, bylaws, legislation and regulations.
- Management of strength and conditioning staff (Assistant S&C Coaches and GAs)
- Other duties as assigned
Work Schedule/Hours: Varies
Suggested Salary Range: Commensurate with experience.
