Director - Service-Learning Curriculum
Job Summary
The Director of Service-Learning Curriculum is responsible for the ongoing development, implementation, and assessment of the service-learning curriculum for the undergraduate medical student training program at the University of Colorado School of Medicine. The service-learning curriculum is part of the Health and Society pillar and is required of all undergraduate medical students.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage in structures and processes to ensure learner readiness for community engagement
- Identify, establish, and maintain relationships with multiple community organizations
- Coordinate with various staff teams to ensure logistical processes
- Assist with the design and facilitation of student and community partner orientations and trainings
- Implement the problem resolution process
- Track student completion and assign grades
- Develop grading and remediation plans
- Participate in continuous quality improvement
- Provide leadership and oversight of service-learning branch directors
- Provide oversight and supervision to the Assistant Director of Service Learning
