Director - Service-Learning Curriculum

Job Summary

The Director of Service-Learning Curriculum is responsible for the ongoing development, implementation, and assessment of the service-learning curriculum for the undergraduate medical student training program at the University of Colorado School of Medicine. The service-learning curriculum is part of the Health and Society pillar and is required of all undergraduate medical students.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage in structures and processes to ensure learner readiness for community engagement
• Identify, establish, and maintain relationships with multiple community organizations
• Coordinate with various staff teams to ensure logistical processes
• Assist with the design and facilitation of student and community partner orientations and trainings
• Implement the problem resolution process
• Track student completion and assign grades
• Develop grading and remediation plans
• Participate in continuous quality improvement
• Provide leadership and oversight of service-learning branch directors
• Provide oversight and supervision to the Assistant Director of Service Learning
