Division Administrator for the Division of Trauma, Critical care and Burn within the Department of Surgery with dual report to Trauma, critical care and Burn leadership/programs at the hospital level. directs, leads and oversees all business, educational, research, clinical and administrative operations of division(s) and clinical practice with full oversight and accountability divisional budgets; directs, manages and supervises all divisional administrative and operational activities; plays a key role in developing, establishing and communicating strategic plans, innovative initiatives and long-term goals and objectives to support the mission, vision and values of the organization in collaboration with Division Chief(s) (chief); researches and identifies current and emerging trends to facilitate development of innovative programs, services, and new initiatives to expand clinical, educational and research programs and services; collaborates with Division Chiefs, the Sr. Department Administrator, the Trauma leadership and senior leadership at University Hospital to develop divisional governance policy and procedures; defines scope of strategic plans and works with divisions to establish deliverable and measurable objectives and define action items; develops, implements and oversees mission area scorecards; regulates and ensures continuity of established business operation processing environment to reinforce adherence to established internal control structures; oversees and assures compliance of division and departmental policies, fiscal, human resources, space and facilities management activities, and operational processing environment to reinforce adherence to established internal control structures; develops and implements quality assurance programs; forecasts, plans, develops and administers annual operating and capital budgets; ensures sound financial management; identifies opportunities to leverage and establish cross-departmental programs; leads, directs and oversees negotiations and management of contracts and affiliation agreements; oversees patient accounting and charge operation.
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Advanced degree may be required. 7 years of relevant experience required. 12 or more years of relevant experience preferred.
