Position description
The Division of Library and Information Science at St. John's University seeks an adjunct faculty member to teach graduate courses in library and information science. The immediate teaching need is for a Spring 2027 course addressing social justice in the information professions. Potential teaching areas include social justice, programs and services for diverse populations, public and academic librarianship, and related areas of library and information science.

Responsibilities
The adjunct faculty member will be responsible for teaching an assigned graduate course, facilitating student learning and engagement, evaluating student work, providing timely feedback, and communicating regularly with students. The instructor will follow established course and program learning objectives and University policies and procedures.
