"Doctoral and Master's Programs at Institute of Data and Information (iDI)"

The Institute of Data and Information (iDI) has eight disciplines including Electronic Science and Technology, Information and Communication Engineering, Computer Science and Technology, Control Science and Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Instrument Science and Technology, Management Science and Engineering, and Data Science and Information Technology. Based on these disciplines, iDI establishes a comprehensive information ecosystem spanning sensing, communication, computing and control, and therefore forms a complete technological chain encompassing hardware, software, and Intelligent manufacturing.

Emphasizing the characteristics of "intelligence" and "systematicness" for emerging engineering disciplines, iDI breaks down disciplinary barriers and has progressively developed three distinctive cross-disciplinary clusters of "Control and Logistics," "Electronics and Computing," and "Precision Instruments and Mechanical Engineering", which are highly integrated and mutually reinforcing. These clusters robustly support three strategic development focuses of "Embodied AI and Systems", "AI plus X", and "Intelligent Instrument and Equipment".
