Job Summary
This position is responsible for coordinating the colleges dual enrollment program. The Dual Enrollment Coordinator serves as the primary point of contact for prospective, admitted, and current Dual Enrollment students, their families, and high school partners. This position is responsible for recruiting and enrolling students into the Dual Enrollment program through strategic outreach, relationship-building, and engagement with high schools, counselors, and community stakeholders. The Coordinator advises students on course selection, registration, funding eligibility, academic planning, and degree pathways while ensuring students meet both high school graduation and college requirements. The position collaborates with campus departments, faculty, and high school partners to support student success, facilitate state funding processes, coordinate Dual Enrollment operations, and maintain compliance with University System of Georgia policies. The Coordinator also serves as the institutional liaison for Dual Enrollment initiatives, promoting enrollment growth, student retention, and successful program completion.

Responsibilities
Recruitment, Outreach, and Student Engagement - 50%
- Serves as the primary point of contact for prospective, admitted, and current Dual Enrollment students and their families.
- Develops and maintains relationships with high school counselors, administrators, and community partners.
- Represents Dalton State College at high schools, college fairs, information sessions, parent meetings, and community events.
- Conducts Dual Enrollment presentations, application workshops, and registration events.
- Assists prospective students through the admissions process and promotes Dual Enrollment opportunities throughout the service area.
- Coordinates communication campaigns to support recruitment, enrollment, retention, and student success initiatives.
Academic Advising - 40%
- Provides academic advising for Dual Enrollment students in accordance with college and state policies.
- Assists students with course selection, registration, and educational planning.
- Reviews high school graduation requirements and aligns course selections with academic and career goals.
Monitors student progress and connects students with campus resources to support academic success.
- Serves as a resource for current students regarding policies, procedures, registration, and academic concerns.
- Collaborates with faculty, advisors, and student support offices to promote student retention and completion.
Program Operations and Administrative Support - 10%
- Assists with Dual Enrollment program operations
- Maintains student records and supports reporting requirements related to Dual Enrollment.
- Attends professional development opportunities and represents the college on Dual Enrollment committees and initiatives.
- Coordinates the Dual Enrollment funding approval process by working directly with students, parents, high school counselors, and appropriate college departments to ensure students meet state funding requirements and remain eligible for participation.
- Collects, reports, and distributes student academic performance information, including midterm and final numeric grades, transcripts, and required reports to high school partners.
- Performs other related duties as assigned in support of the Dual Enrollment program.
Required Qualifications
Educational Requirements
Baccalaureate degree in a course of study related to the occupational field required, or equivalent combination of education and related work experience.
Required Experience
Two years of related experience required.
