About the Position
The Bond University Office of Research Services is currently seeking a highly experienced administrator to join their busy team as the Executive Officer Research. Reporting into the Director of Research Services, this high level administrative role will be responsible for:
- Supporting the research policy development agenda of the Research Portfolio and providing secretariat support to the University Research Committee
- Maintaining the research portfolio website, intranet and compliance functions
- Coordinating university events such as Research Week and the associated marketing
- Reviewing content in the Research Management System and providing training and support to staff and student users
- Fostering relationships and working closely with various departments within the university including the Office of Provost, the HDR Unit, Marketing, ITS, Finance and HR
About the person
The successful candidate will possess:
- A degree qualification in a relevant area
- Strong presentation and facilitation skills, including high level interpersonal skills
- The Ability to lead and manage large and complex projects
- Experience in project management, website development and marketing functions
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and deliver high quality outcomes within short time frames
- Ability to work in a professional manner as a member of a cross-functional team including strong collaboration across departmental and faculty boundaries to achieve outcomes
- High level accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of the position
- Exceptional communication skills
Experience working within a university research environment, along with the ability to develop policies and procedures relevant to research at Bond University would also be highly advantageous, however not essential.
Salary details
The salary for the position commences at $ 98,789.18 per annum, plus 12% superannuation.
