Education Support Officer (Clinical)
We are looking for an Education Support Officer (Clinical) to join our dynamic and collaborative team to support the delivery of the Doctor of Medicine program.
A part-time (0.8FTE) continuing position working with the Sydney Medical School Education Support team (4 days on-site) base at Camperdown, with the possibility of sometimes working at Sydney Eye Hospital. Base Salary $103,185 (Pro rata) + 17% superannuation.
About the opportunity: The Faculty of Medicine and Health is looking for an Education Support Officer (Clinical) to support the provision of a broad range of educational support services to academic and teaching staff, in the management of the Doctor of Medicine (MD) Program. This position requires you to be on site a minimum of 4 days a week including Monday's and Friday's. Hybrid working options will be decided with your manager if you are successful in this position.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
- coordinate and provide administrative support for clinical teaching including the recruitment, engagement and ongoing relationship management with paid and non-paid clinical tutors and supervisors, including timetabling and logistical management (including booking and preparation of teaching spaces) of the tutor base.
- liaise with and build strong relationships with key staff and relevant stakeholders, including staff, academics, and clinicians from the LHD.
- logistical support of clinical and knowledge-based assessments within the medical program.
- provide an exceptional student experience that fosters a positive learning environment, cultivates student success, and promotes a sense of inclusivity and belonging within the medical program and university.

- have demonstratable experience in continuous process improvement initiatives; particularly, committed to creating a meaningful standard operating procedure (SOP), and creating new workflows.
- demonstrate advanced proficiency in various computer applications including but not limited to Microsoft 365 with the ability to leverage technology effectively to streamline processes and enhance productivity.
