Remuneration: $158,080 to $165,606 pa (HEW9) (inclusive of $133,579 to $139,939 salary pa, 17% superannuation and 17.5% recreation leave loading)

Location: Kelvin Grove (hybrid option available)

Who are we looking for?

We are seeking a Educational Technologies Adoption Manager to join Learning and Teaching Unit, Education Portfolio, Academic Division.

The Educational Technologies Adoption Manager leads and coordinates the management and adoption of key learning and teaching technologies, aligned with QUT’s strategic objectives. The Educational Technologies Adoption Manager has a primary focus on maximising the adoption of learning and teaching technologies that support the planning and delivery of engaging student experiences and academic practice. To achieve this, the position works in partnership with the Director, Learning Innovation and Design, Curriculum Design Studio teams, the QUT Academy for Learning and Teaching, and key staff in Digital Business Solutions.

What you need to succeed

  1. Education, training and/or relevant experience equivalent to postgraduate qualifications, with extensive experience in implementing and managing relevant learning and teaching technology applications in the tertiary education sector.
  2. Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain effective partnerships, engage in co-design activities, and develop and promote a client centred, quality focused approach to the implementation and use of technologies in a complex pedagogical environment.
  3. Proven organisational skills and extensive experience in project, vendor and stakeholder management, including the preparation of submissions, reports, protocols and other complex documents.
  4. Demonstrated leadership in the implementation of institutional strategies for innovation in higher education and a proven track record of driving best practice in the use of technology in learning and teaching approaches at an institutional level.
  5. Advanced communication and interpersonal skills, with proven negotiating experience to positively influence learning and teaching practices.
  6. Demonstrated success in identifying and analysing current trends and future developments in areas relating to teaching practice and the application of contemporary technology with regard to the tertiary education sector.
