MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Must support the mission, vision, and values of NDSCS
• Two-year degree in Electrical Technology or related area OR equivalent education and experience
• Relevant work experience in electrical field
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Computer and technology literacy
• Ability to function in a team environment
• Flexibility to teach students of varying abilities

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Associate in applied science in Electrical Technology or related field
• Journeyman license or higher
• Industry experience in one or more of the following areas: Commercial and residential wiring and codes, Instrumentation and process controls, Electronics/home and building automation, Electric motor controls and drives, Renewable energy systems
• Prior teaching or training experience
