Electrician
Peterhouse, the oldest of the Cambridge Colleges, has an exciting role of Electrician, which we are seeking to fill within our highly regarded Maintenance Team.
The College seeks to appoint an experienced and suitably qualified electrician to work as part of the Maintenance Department providing a day-to-day electrician service to buildings within the College’s main site and College owned outside properties. Working as part of a team the postholder will provide both reactive and planned maintenance support covering all areas within the College and other properties as may from time to time be required. Carry out and plan new installations and undertake commissioning of them.
The Electrician will be an integral member of the Maintenance Department where the principal trades are represented.
You will have the ability to use initiative to get things done; have a proactive attitude, and be conscientious, hardworking and reliable. You will be able to keep calm under pressure and deal with interruptions appropriately.
