Job Summary

Under the supervision of Management in the Operations and Maintenance Department, this electrical position is responsible for the maintenance, repair, and installation of facility electrical systems components (0 to 600 volts AC/DC) up to and including secondary distribution panels, fire alarm systems, lighting, communication, and networking systems. Relies on instructions and work orders to perform the functions of the job.

Responsibilities

• Repairing - 65: Troubleshoot, interpret blueprints, understanding of the NEC. Replace defective parts...
• Installing - 10: Installation of power, receptacles...
• Maintenance - 15: Maintains various types of electrical systems...

Required Qualifications

Educational Requirements: High School diploma or GED.

Other Required Qualifications: Ability to operate a computer or iPad... Valid driver's license

Required Experience: Three to five years of general maintenance or preventative maintenance experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Additional Preferred Qualifications: Low Voltage License. State of Georgia Electrical License.

Preferred Educational Qualifications: Electrical certification from a trade or technical school. Fire Alarms, Panels, Pumps, and Life Safety Systems Certifications
