Description

The Division of Cardiovascular Medicine in the Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Assistant Professor positions in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Applicants must have an M.D. degree. Applicants should be board certified or board eligible in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Diseases, and Electrophysiology.

Teaching responsibilities may include teaching medical students and residents as well as training cardiovascular fellows in electrophysiology procedures.

Clinical responsibilities may include care of patients in an outpatient setting, inpatient consultations, and performance of electrophysiology procedures in the hospital procedural labs at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center as well as affiliated satellite clinics/hospitals. Specific qualifications include training and the ability to independently perform electrophysiology procedures.

Applicants must have subspecialty training and documented skills in all aspects of diagnostic and therapeutic electrophysiology procedures.
