• Create and submit weekly lesson plans, utilizing the digital template provided, to the building lead.
• Learn and implement the required curriculum that emphasizes life skills, workplace skills, digital literacy, civics/citizenship and more.
• Access and utilize the JCAE ELL website and other online resources to teach in a classroom setting.
• Maintain student data, attendance records and other online resources to teach in a classroom setting.
• Conference with learners at the beginning and end of the semester to discuss goals and growth.
• Participate in new student intake onboarding such as registration, orientation, and testing.
• Participate in staff development activities both online and in-person each semester.
• Completing all JCCC annual mandatory training and administrative requirements, as well as additional onboarding requirements for JCAE new teachers.
• Access email regularly and read Weekly Updates to stay informed of expectations and upcoming events.
• Work with the building lead to schedule a formal observation.
• Fill-in periodically for other teachers.
