Employer Relations Coordinator
Job Summary
The Employer Relations Coordinator supports the Office of Career and Professional Development by strategically cultivating and strengthening partnerships with and between employers, students, alumni, faculty, and administration. The Employer Relations Coordinator is responsible for developing and maintaining effective relationships with local, regional, and national employers to increase recruitment of Georgia Southern University students and recent graduates.
Responsibilities
- Proactively develop and implement strategies designed to increase employment opportunities for our students and graduates
- Manages Employer Partner Program follow-up and renewal activity
- Work with employers to develop marketing strategies for enhancement of employer presence on campus, which includes, but is not limited to campus recruitment, job postings, internships, career fairs, and class/organization presentations
- Oversees management of recruitment tracking and employer databases
- Assists with recruitment and management of the recruitment-tracking (job posting) database
- Coordinates on-campus recruitment for Armstrong Campus (Savannah, GA) and assists with the recruitment on the Statesboro Campus
- Assists the Programs and Events Coordinator with employer participation at Career Fairs and other targeted networking events
- Work closely with the Experiential Learning Coordinator to develop experiential learning opportunities for students
Required Qualifications
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree
Required Experience
- Three (3) or more years of related work experience in recruiting, human resources, career services, or other related fields; demonstrated experience in employer relations
Proposed Salary
$20.71 - $24.04 per hour
This is a non-exempt position paid on a biweekly basis.
