Saint Joseph's College of Maine is hiring for the position of Assistant Men's Soccer (Goalie) Coach!

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Supports the department of Athletics by: 

  • Assisting the Head Coach in administering sports programs of women’s soccer
  • Assisting the Head Coach with the recruiting program to attract student-athletes with the necessary skills and intellectual abilities needed to succeed as a student-athlete
  • Assisting with administrative items
  • Adhering to and enforcing all policies and procedures of the Department of Athletics and College

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Run goalkeeper sessions during practice
  • Evaluate and provide feedback to goalkeepers after practices and games
  • Assist with practices, games (home & away)
  • Assist with preparing film for goalkeeper feedback
  • Assist with recruitment programs
  • Assist with recruiting communication
  • Attend games, tournaments, ID events to watch and evaluate recruits
  • Assist with ID camps
  • Assist with youth camps
  • Attend SJC admission events, as available

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Prior coaching experience is a priority; college experience preferred, but not required
  • First Aid, CPR, AED (these can be completed after hire, but should be completed prior to the season)
