Enrollment Management and Student Affairs Events/Project Intern
Position Summary
Event Coordination & Execution
- Assist with planning and executing college events, including ceremonies, fairs, meetings, and student-focused activities.
- Prepare event materials such as signage, packets, name badges, supplies, and décor.
- Support day-of logistics, including setup, check-in, hosting, and teardown.
- Help manage event timelines, task lists, and run-of-show documents.
Administrative & Project Support
- Maintain and update event-related spreadsheets, attendance lists, and tracking documents.
- Review vendor contracts, quotes, and service agreements, and flag items that need clarification or approval.
- Assist with ordering supplies, coordinating catering, and confirming event reservations and services.
Communication
- Draft and send event-related communications, reminders, and follow-up messages to students, faculty, staff, and external partners.
- Respond to questions from participants and direct inquiries to appropriate staff when needed.
- Support internal communication processes to ensure event details stay clear, timely, and accurate.
Post-Event Evaluation
- Assist with collecting feedback through surveys or debrief meetings.
- Help summarize outcomes, track key metrics, and identify opportunities for improvement.
Engagement & Availability
- Attend and assist with as many events as possible throughout the year.
- Coordinate scheduling needs with the Event Coordinator to accommodate academic commitments.
