Examples of Duties Performed

• Collaborate with and support Principal Investigators (PI) and other stakeholders with laboratory and research functions
• Utilize a variety of laboratory techniques required for research projects
• Perform experiments and tabulate and analyze research
• Support analytical testing process...
• Prepare lab for daily operations...
• Provide animal care related to research studies, as necessary
• Pick up, transport, and maintain results, samples...
• Dispose of laboratory materials...
• Review, complete and process logs...

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in biology, molecular biology, chemistry, genetics or related field
• A combination of education and related technical/paraprofessional experience may be substituted for the bachelor's degree on a year for year basis

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in biology, molecular biology, chemistry, genetics or related field
• Prior experience or background within an experimental or wet lab
• Two years of clinical research experience (oncology preferred)
• Experience with molecular or immunology lab techniques
• Phlebotomy experience
• Previous oncology experience

Competencies, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Knowledge of basic laboratory techniques including safety procedures and techniques
• Understanding of basic molecular biology and ability to interpret basic data
• Ability to communicate effectively, both in writing and orally
• Proficient daily use with MS Office software...

Salary and Benefits

The salary range for this position has been established at $40,280 to $51,236.
