Responsible for collecting data through personal or telephone interviews with study participants. follows strict research guidelines in accomplishing work assignments. Some independent judgement is used, within the framework of the data collection instrument, in interviewing study participants.

Responsibilities
- Identify study participants through phone calls or written request for participation.
- Follow script to pre-screen potential participants over the phone or in person to determine eligibility according to study guidelines.
- Follow a complex data collection instrument to conduct in-depth and lengthy telephone or in-person interviews. (Usually twenty minutes to one hour and a half in length). Interview questions are sometimes of a sensitive or personal nature.
- Collect and record data manually or via CATI program. (Computer Assisted Telephone Interviewing)
- Maintain accurate log of all contacts.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School graduation or the equivalent.
- Minimum of 1 year of counseling or interviewing experience.
- Positions which involve travel may require reliable transportation.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- BA/BS in the Social Sciences or training in Research Methodology desired.
- Native-level Spanish fluency
- Ability to read and follow written instructions.
- Ability to neatly document information.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
The hourly pay range for this position is from $22.22 to $31.63 and pay offered will be based on experience and qualifications.
This position is not eligible for H-1B sponsorship at this time.
