Manage contracts, insurance, and compliance requirements in
coordination with campus partners
Develop event production timelines, load-in/load-out schedules,
and staffing plans
Maintain budget tracking and reconcile post-event expenses
Support academic programs and college-hosted events as
needed
Plan and coordinate public and campus engagement events,
including concerts, lectures, workshops, and special
programming
Serve as liaison to performers, campus partners, vendors, and
community stakeholders to ensure smooth event execution
Manage program scheduling, space reservations, contracts, and
vendor arrangements
Develop outreach initiatives to increase audience engagement,
including partnerships with campus groups and local schools
Assist in the development of event-related communications and
promotional materials in partnership with the Marketing
Associate
Provide on-site event coordination, including supervision of
volunteers and student staff
Shift
Office hours, Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Evenings and
weekends based on event schedule.
Minimum Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and
experience and 1 year of experience from which comparable knowledge
and skills can be acquired is necessary.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in performing arts, education, or event
management
- Excellent organizational, communication, and project management
skills
- Strong project management skills
- Familiarity with university system, procedures, and
facilities
Anticipated Hiring Range
Salary: $24.00 - $26.44 per hour
