Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity
We are actively seeking a dynamic Executive Assistant who will lead a team dedicated to enhancing administrative support for the Associate Deans and Senior Professional staff within the Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences, elevating the team's overall capability and performance. This role will also provide executive level support to the Director of Faculty Operations and their team. This will include supporting and driving initiatives that will help the faculty deliver on its strategic objectives.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
- Developing collaborative working relationships with key stakeholders
- Provide executive level support for strategic initiatives, particularly focused on supporting the People and Culture and Enabling Environment strategic priorities
- Provide leadership, mentoring and direction to direct reports
- Ensuring the smooth operation of administrative support and executive assistant functions for the Faculty Operations function, including coordinating meetings, managing diaries, preparing agendas, and recording minutes for committees and staff meetings.
- Liaising with the faculty administration team to coordinate key internal processes.
- Coordinating recruitment processes.

This is a part-time (30 hours per week), permanent position.
The salary range for this role is $73,400 - $90,700 (pro rated), depending on skills and experience

The role is based in the Faculty Operations team (M&HS Building 505). You will be leading and working as part of a team of EAs in a busy but collegial/calm and friendly work environment.
