About the role
We have an exciting opportunity to join the Draper Group in the Department of Paediatrics as the Executive Assistant to Professor Angela Minassian.
You will play an important role in the contribution of supporting Professor Angela Minassian and the Draper Group Clinical Trials team.
You will be responsible for delivering administrative processes such as diary and meeting management, processing expenses, booking travel. You will provide effective support through great communication and organisational skills.
You will be working in a growing department within the Medical Sciences Division. The Department of Paediatrics is a world leader in child health research and hosts internationally renowned research programmes in drug development, gastroenterology, haematology, HIV, immunology, neuroimaging, neuromuscular diseases and vaccinology.
This position is offered full-time on a fixed-term contract initially 18 months with the possibility to extend provided further external funding is available.

About you
You will have proven experience of managing diaries and providing comprehensive executive support. You will possess the ability to manage and prioritise a varied workload and meet deadlines in a busy environment, excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy. You will have demonstrable experience of producing high-quality correspondence and administrative documentation and strong numeracy skills with experience in financial administration, including expenses and purchase orders. You will have highly effective verbal and written communication skills with all level of staff and an ability to operate effectively in a demanding research environment.
